Wait, it’s almost Christmas?

Again, I have procrastinated enough on writing a blog post that I missed telling anyone who actually reads this blog (so, three people) about some stuff.

I’m thinking of making it my personal brand. Just, you know, forgetfulness.

But before I forget, you can read some of my work in real and actual magazines next month. I have a non-fiction piece about the holiday settlement I’ve ended up living in coming up in January’s North & South, and a short story in my new favourite genre of “unsettling SF” will be in the Listener sometime next month. I may remember to let you know which week it is. Maybe.

Looking further forward a bit, I’m going to be part of the SameSameButDifferent festival again, and this time taking part in the Auckland Writer’s Festival’s schools programme.

Meri Kirihemete everyone, and Happy New Year. I look forward to the end of the holidays so I can relax, because all this socialising is wearing me out.
